A couple had been messing around on floatation devices and the storm threw them into a rock being hammered by crashing waves. …show more content…
When he reached the rock the couple was so panicked they began grabbing at him. He reached out and placed each of them on his back. Swimming at what seemed to be the speed of light, he reached shore with both of them. The couple thanked him with a hard embrace knocking him back into the furious sea where he cracked his skull on a sharp piece of coral that the waves knocked to shore. Blood was gushing down his face, his children panicking because their father was leaking of blood into the ocean. His wife had gotten an ambulance for the couple, but she now needed it for her husband. The couple told her that they were fine and to make sure he stayed alive for his children. The ambulance drove away with him unconscious in the back. Twenty-four staples later and he is up and saving lives by doing small things again. My father will be a hero in my eyes forever because he always puts others before

George Washington was considered a good leader because he was the first president and valued his people’s voices. He had struggles when he was a general, but he also was a hero with his sacrifices he made. He was never paid in the Continental Army and nearly became bankrupt when he returned as President of the U.S. When he was general there were battles that made him look like a hero, for example, “Braddock’s Defeat” when Washington had to take command after the general in charge was badly wounded. He later courageously led his men to a successful retreat. And another successful battle was when he led the Patriots to a victory against Great Britain (1775-1783).…

What do you think of when you hear the term “Founding Father”? Most likely you think of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson or even Benjamin Franklin, but there are a few others missing from that list. Sitting at my desk, I stared down at my schoolwork while my mind remained static. Suddenly, I found myself beginning to radiate golden light as my body faded from existence; then before I knew it, I rematerialized out of thin air. He raised his hands and smiled down at me before bellowing out, “Behold, for it is I; Gabe Newell!”…
