Ring ring, ring ring. The phone rings in Jaxson Browler home office. He is exhausted but answers anyway.
“Hello?” Jaxson answers.
“Hi there,” it’s his firm partner, “I have a job for you.”

Once he gets on the plane it is a little cozier than the firm but still very official. He takes his seat. He didn’t bring any carry-on. He didn’t feel the need to bring any extra. Jaxson slept the entire ride.
When Jaxson woke up they had landed in South Carolina. He went through customs and got in line to board the boat. He missed home already. Everyone around was with their friends and family. They were some college kids here and there. Nothing that was gonna be too much of a bother. But he stood there by himself. His one suitcase. Nothing else just him and a bag of shorts and shirts and one suit.
Jaxson got to his room but he didn’t want to stay there so he went out to the deck and he saw that there was a storm coming towards them. He didn’t care he just stayed inside the cafeteria and drank some coffee.
He walked out on to the deck and it was pouring rain. He felt the waves get stronger. He had been at the bar for a while so he was feeling very light-headed as he started to lean over the edge. He backs away but thought it would be fun to go back and do it
