Our ancestors, who lived near the coast, appreciated the beach for providing a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle. They consumed fresh seafood and fruits that supported their active lifestyle. They relaxed in the sun, and bathed in the ocean which made their skin radiate of sex appeal. Today, people visit the beach for the same reasons: to relax and to enjoy delicious food. Ventura Harbor is a great place to relaxing and has numerous restaurants nearby. But when it comes to high quality beach dining experience, only a few are recognized. Brophy Bros offers the best beach dining experience in Ventura Harbor by providing a memorable environment, high quality service, and amazing food. Brophy Bros has one of the best environments in Ventura Harbor that gives the restaurant a memorable experience. Taryn had recommended and ordered me the New York Steak and the homemade clam chowder. Upon arrival of my steak the blissful sound of sizzling meat made its way to my ear. The steak came with rice pilaf, and cole slaw that made the plate look like an art piece created by Picasso. The steak made a crisp sound when struck with my knife and it cut like jello. The steak had a buttery taste and when eaten with the rice pilaf, it added a sour cream and onion flavor. The cole slaw had a cold touch to the tongue like peppermint, and tasted fresh, like a organic vegetable garden. The clam chowder arrived and the sight of steam rising from the bowl made me anxious to try it immediately. The chowder had a slight orange color, and had big chunks of clams, potatoes, and sprinkled green parsley. The chowder was not too salty, not too clammy, it was just right of creaminess and clamminess. The delicious taste of New York steak, cole slaw, rice pilaf, and clam chowder is what made the food at Brophy Bros a
