My underlying needs and interests include keeping a great company reputation by resolving the problem out of court. The president of Black expressed reiterated the company’s policy about attempting to resolve all disputes without resort to litigation. Therefore, it is in the best interest of the organization, and myself, to do everything in my power to resolve the issue in the meeting with the president of Brookside. Brookside’s needs and interested include having a robust and functional healthcare information system in order to grow efficiency and improve effectiveness. For a struggling company, it is vital to have a healthcare information system operational as soon as possible. Overall, Brookside and Black have common needs and interests.
