Epigenetic research shows that there is an interaction between the innate and experiential factors and this is supported by five different theories; they are Erikson’s psychological theory, Piaget’s cognitive stage theory, information processing theory, Bronfenbrenner’s bioecological theory and Bowlby’s attachment theory.
Erikson’s psychosocial theory propose that personality is influenced by society and develops through a series of cries. Piaget
