The microsystem is the complex of relations between the developing person and environment in an immediate setting containing that person. (Dixon,2003) When I was younger I did of things in my room or around the television. I ate food in front of the television I also did homework, study and play video games in front of the television. Growing up in a single parent home I did not have all the things or advance as a person from a two parent home. So I wanted all the material things my mom could not afford. So I got a job at an early age to get those things and help her with bills. From coming from a low income home I saw a vision that I did not want to live like this and wanted to make my mother proud.
