I believe at the mesosytems we can change it by we as teachers working with the families to understand where the child is coming form and help as much as you can. This is when two of the microsystems have interactions at this level. If the parent being abuse if not ready, then as least keep the child safe and let him know that you are there for him or her and it a safe place at school. In the exosystem level would be how the school district or social service would handle the situation of the home life. Additionally, the macrosystem would be the Child Welfare laws that are in place to keep the child best interest and safety first. This could also be life styles that the families live of their culture. The final level would be chronosytem. It related to my topic by the child experiences a child is exposed to in their lifetime. Examples could be the environment if they stay in home, if they are placed with other families, mother or father separates, or placed in the system. These are major transitions and can have a huge impact on the child’s development.
