At a celebration, called Jamnastni, hosted by the Gujarat Samaj of Houston. I could hear the kids, yelling and shouting in the excitement of Jamnastni. I could see the shadows of the bounce house. I was waiting for my friend in front of the bounce house. I could smell the delicious food cooking in the cafeteria. My friend interrupted my thoughts. He walked into the bounce house. I was too excited. We climbed on. Apparently we came early because there was literally almost no other kids there, it was me my friend and 3 other kids. It felt like an empty desert! We played an official game, I was team captain and Smeet, my friend, was team captain. Game started… It was 21-21, last minute of the game. Our team made a decision, Dargan, my other friend, distracts the other teams wide receiver. We knew Smeet would pass it to him. “Say hut,” I heard Smeet scream at the top of his lungs. I couldn’t feel anything it was numb, but I couldn’t move it either. It looked like I broke my finger. I told Smeet what I think happened. It took hours to get out of the bounce house, there were so many people. When we got out we ran at lightning speed to my parents. Luckily Smeets mom was a nurse. I told her what had happened. Worriedly she said it was broken. The rest of the night the bird flew away and didn’t come back. The next morning we went to the doctor, we figured out, it was actually broken. I got a cast the week after
