Loving A Broken Heart Why won’t she come home with me? Is it because her father does not like me? Am I being used? Ronnie and Marie are a twenty-eight year old couple, they have been together for exactly five months and four days. It is 2 am at an empty train station and Ronnie is doubting Marie love for him just because she will not stay the night. Ronnie has so many unrealistic reasons as to why she has been denying going home with him. ¨Love on the B-line¨ is an effective play because it shows how vacuous or silly people can be in a relationship by having a loving tone, good character goals, and a good plot. In ¨The love of the B-line¨ the tone is very caring. This is effective because it plays a large role in how a reader takes in the story because you realise that they are in love. When you love someone they can easily make you doubt yourself and the things you do. This can be a good or bad thing that happens in relationships. Robbie keeps asking why knowing that the answer ¨I have to get to my cat¨ is not the real reason. This all being done to give readers a better connection to the play everyone knows when they are being lied to and they don’t like it. This is even better knowing it is two a.m. at the place they met at and they are on the verge of breaking up over what seems to us to be such a silly reason. In reality in most cases many couples argue over silly things if you just happen to be an outsider looking in. This will keep the reader's attention because you want to know what happens next in the story. The ending of this play is a cliff hanger it end with the train pulling up and both Marie and Robbie stand but it just end. Now readers want more and will wonder what happened making this a more memorable play for
