Broken Bone-Personal Narrative

So, having read this title you can probably guess this story is going to have something to do with a broken bone. If you didn’t guess that then, you should probably become a better guesser. Anyways, there was a night 2 years ago when I was sitting in the basement with my bestfriend, Breilynd, and there was absolutely nothing to do. I’m not exaggerating that either. We could not think of a single thing that would keep us occupied for more than 5 minutes. I turned on music after a while, and a song came on that way back when I danced to for cheerleading. Brei started laughing at the mention of my cheerleading days, and with a frown firmly etched into my face I asked her for her reason for laughing. I got her in a ready position and told her everything she needed to do in order for me to not fall onto my face. She only continued to nod and look bored. So, finally I got into my own ready position and launched myself up moving my feet for her to catch, and she did. For a second. I could feel her miss, and then almost immediately after I felt myself starting to fall. I tried shifig my weight to my right side. Right after I did this I heard a sharp ‘crack!’ in my ears as I hit the floor with a surprising amount of force. I could almost instantly feel a difference in the area around my neck and I frantically clutched my elbow to keep my arm from moving. With blurred eyes and a pained voice I yelled at brei to get my grandpa, which she replied to with a firm no. Disbelievingly I looked at her, and all she did was shrug. I started to cry and she looked mildly uncomfortable and told me that it was probably nothing and that I should just try and shake it off. I knew it wasn’t and shakily managed to bring myself to my feet I shuffled upstairs, and told him all about it. Shocked he called my mom who told him I was probably just over exaggerating and to just put some ice on it and lay
