The reporter stated on 02/22/16, Brody came to school with a rash on his face that was very red and he had bruising on his left arm in the shape of a hand print. The reporter stated when she asked the child what happened, Brody told her his father became upset and hit, kicked, pulled, held, and sat on him while he tried to do his homework. Ms. Bloomingbird stated Brody was retained last school year and Mr. Dyer may have become upset with the child. According to the reporter, Brody did not have any other marks or bruises on his body that needed any medical treatment, but she noticed him holding his side. Ms. Bloomingbird stated this may have been from the father’s kick, but she’s unsure. The reporter stated she did not pull the child’s shirt
