Broccoli has many health benefits. Studies have shown that kids that eat broccoli are healthier, smarter, and typically stronger. Broccoli has also been around for a long time. It is one of the earliest vegetables consumed in a regular person's daily diet. This summary will summarize another, longer, article about broccoli, its benefits, and even the best ways to cook it.

Broccoli also has many vitamins and nutrients that are necessary to having a good health. When cancer patients were asked of their diets, very few of them said that they regularly ate broccoli. However, when other people without cancer were asked about their diets, a greater percentage of them said that they ate broccoli at least once a week. Broccoli helps prevent all types of cancer but it mostly helps against breast cancer, colon cancer, and bladder cancer. Other more complicated studies have proven the same thing but they are too complicated for any 7th grader to understand. THere are also many ways to cook broccoli.

The best way to cook broccoli is to quick steam it.This is because it makes the broccoli cooked, and closest to its natural state. Eating broccoli raw is the healthiest way to eat it but it may not taste as good. Some of the benefits of cooking broccoli this way include more vitamin C in the broccoli, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory compounds. For people that want some seasonings or sauce on their broccoli, try fat-free peppercorn ranch. Or fat-free soy sauce. This is why quick steaming is much more healthy than other methods of cooking.

People often say that they do not like broccoli. Well, that’s okay by me! They can go ahead and get breast cancer, have poor eyesight, be weak, unhealthy, and by all means, it's fine by me if they’re stupid too!
