A simple evening eating pizza, socializing and playing cards might seem like a simple event, but in reality to complete such tasks, the brain is continuously adapting to the environment. The Broca area is involved in speech production which means that it generates every word that you will be pronouncing during your visit at your friends. The Broca also is involved in language processing which helps one speak clearly. During the evening out, the Broca will be producing the words and phrases needed to socialize with your friends. During the card game, you need to speak to get your value across to the other players, so your Broca will need say words such as "check" and "fold" if the friendly game indeed is poker. The function of the Hippocampus involves long-term storage, which is a key substance during a party. While eating pizza, the first thing you need to have embedded in your mind are the functions on how to eat, which is one component stored inside of your Hippocampus. During socializing, you have to remember past occurrences and even stories to tell one another during the concurrent talks. The Hippocampus also keeps track of many important features that keep you running, such as remembering important events. Finally, during the friendly card game, you have to remember how the others react to certain cards or even how you yourself should act in a friendly card game. The Hypothalamus is what is keeping you awake and alert during the party. The pizza at the party is there to meet your Hypothalamus needs because it controls your appetite, and without any food during the party, the system may be beyond capable of functioning. During long periods of time, everyone usually gets tired, but the Hypothalamus, during this party would keep you awake and prevent you from falling asleep. Finally, the Occipital lobe is the reason you see what you see during the party. Without the Occipital lobe working, you would be impaired and blind to an extent. During the whole time you use your vision to see the room, the people and also the cards that you are playing with. The Occipital lobes are fast at sending information, provide accurate, and correct understandings of what you are looking
