Brittany Maynard's Life: A Theoretical Analysis

It was the words that no person wants to hear, being told that they have brain cancer with only six months to live. Those were the words that changed Brittany Maynards life. Maynard decided to take matters into her own hands, have control over the inevitable. She would take a pill prescribed by a doctor that would end her life in order to avoid the pain caused by the cancer taking over her brain (Bever). All over the world there are people who are suffering from a terminal illness that is causing them immense amounts of pain. Terminal illnesses such as cancer and other diseases cause suffering for not only the people who have the disease, but also the family and friends around them watching them suffer.
