After her stardom in Mickeys show she just kept getting bigger. She then started opening up for *NSYNC at the age of thirteen. In 1999 at the age of 18, Britney released her first hit …Baby one more time. That same year Britney received Female artist of the year at the Billboard Music Awards. That next January she won favorite pop/rock new artist. In February she was nominated for two awards at the Grammys. Later that year “Oops…I did it again” hit the radios and broke the record for most radio adds in one day. That very song also sold 1.3 million copies sold within the first week.
