1.1 Purposes of different types of organisation
Business Enterprise is of two types government institutions (non profit organisation)and individualistic institutions (money motive). Sole proprietorship, partnership and joint stock company including branches and voluntary association of people belong to individualistic institutions. Public enterprises run mainly to provide service to public. Industries can be classified into three types firstly manufacturing raw materials, secondly producing finished goods and thirdly providing business services such as British Airways.BA which was a state undertaking previously, which was later converted to a company with limited liability(whose shares are listed in the share market) after privatisation in

Vision of the company gives an understanding to foresee the company’s growth. Mission of the company helps to achieve the company’s point of view. British Airways plans to be nearly everyone’s desirable and very accountable airways on earth. Objectives means present and near future goals decided by the company. To make travelling even more comfortable for executive division tourists is the current goal of British Airways. Valuable ideas should fulfil the SMART norm. All these should be accurate, proven, achievable and realistic not beyond the period. One of the main goals of British Airways is to diminish the harmful gases discharged from its flights to half of its volume by the year 2050 than that of the year 2005 .BA can measure its current position and plan for its opportunities with the norms of SMART.
1.2 Objectives of organisations’ stakeholders
The stakeholders of the company are either internal or external; they are not concerned about same matter in a specific company. The different levels of workers in the company and people who have invested their capital are the internal stakeholders.
