Today I gave a testosterone injection and flushed a suprapubic catheter. The nurse has true faith in me on certain procedures, but I still worry that I might mess up. She did verify that I had the right medicine and the correct dosage before I gave the injection. After that I documented where the injection was given, lot number, expiration date and of course the amount given.
