In times of war there are generally three people, the people in the war, the people watching the war, and those who don’t care. Photojournalist Larry Burrows happened to be two of those people. Larry Burrows died when his helicopter was shot down over laos while collecting photos of this gruesome war that claimed thousands of lives. Originally written January, 25th,1963 the Times article “America in Vietnam, 1963: Deeper Into War” provided a much deeper out look into the Vietnam War and the cost of the people in and around it pushing the anti-war campaign further. For this article I chose Bring The Boys Home by freda payne because the lyrics talk about people being killed in vain not just soldiers, and this relates because this photojournalist whet on his own accord to vietnam to help share what was happening to the United States only to be killed before he could make a difference.

Multiple “protest” broke out in several states during the Vietnam Moratorium Day advanced billing. The result of some of these protest were brief and provoked such as when “ a group of 20 young 'black' militants, carrying a mock coffin and a Vietcong flag, tried to force their way into the grounds”. The worst part was it wasn't just Protesters v State, it was also Protester v Protester “there was also a minor incident when demonstrators and hecklers tossed rocks and bottles at each other”. The song "It Better End Soon 1st Movement" perfectly relates to this with its lyric “Can't take it no more, The people hating, Hurting their brothers” not only is the general level of unhappiness captured but also the fear of turning on each
