1. The brine shrimps vary in size at different stages of their life cycle. When they are in their egg stage, in the earlier days of growth, they are extremely small almost in micrometer in length. And when they are in their adult stage, they are in millimetre in the length, as indicated in the table provided. Due to their small size, it is extremely important that then suitable metric unit is used in order to measure the size of the shrimps. Therefore, “mm/ocular unit” is suitable for measuring the size of brine shrimps. But, measurement cannot be taken as too precise. So, data should be represented as “cm” that is 10th of a millimetre. The scale will be coarser “cm” rather than finer “mm”. The digits should be about 2 significant figures.
