Brigham Young Research Paper

Utah is a great place, and it has its own very unique history , it was the land where the pioneers planned to settle , away from persecution . This state was settled by the Mormon Pioneers ( members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) who were led across the country by the church leader at the time Brigham Young. Their trek started in the city of Nauvoo, Illinois in the year of 1846, and it ended in Salt Lake City, Utah in the year of 1847.There were many explorations of new areas and then settlements , the people encountered new places new resources and deadly diseases too. Diseases were also apart of exchanges , as were land in utah for money and some resources .

Brigham Young was born in the year 1801 in Whitingham, Vermont ,and worked as a traveling carpenter and blacksmith for most of his life . He married Miriam Works in 1824. Introduced to the church in 1830 and after two years of exploring the church, he became a member in 1832. The same year ,he served a mission in western New York for the church .
