Brief Summary Of 'The Outsiders'

A fourteen year old boy named Ponyboy Curtis is coming home from the movies alone. Where Ponyboy lives, is a dangerous place where the Socials (the rich kids from the West) are the bullies. Ponyboy is a Greaser and Greasers are the targets for the Socials to bully. Next, Ponyboy gets attacked by a whole car full of Socials. Luckily, his two older brothers: Darry and Sodapop – and the rest of his gang: Steve, Two-bit, Johnny and Dallas comes to rescue him and chase away the Socials. After this incident, we learn that Ponyboy and his two brothers recently lost their parents in a car accident.
The next day, Ponyboy and Johnny goes to the movies with Dallas. They spot two social girls there as well. Soon Dallas begins harassing them until Johnny tells him to stop. Dallas stops but leaves. So the girls:

When they wake up, Darry gets furious at them when they return home. Darry and Pony argue and Darry slaps Pony in the face. They walk in the park and soon they’re confronted by the gang of Social’s in which Bob and Randy are in. Ones of the Socials, David, attempts to drown Ponyboy in the fountain and Ponyboy faints. When Ponyboy wakes up, he finds out that Johnny had killed Bob (one of the girl’s boyfriend).
Pony and Johnny go and see Dallas, and he tells them to take a train out of town and hide in a certain abandoned church. Dallas gives them some money and the two boys go and spend five days there. On the fifth day, Dallas arrives and takes them to eat, but when they get back, the abandoned church catches fire (it was already on fire) and small schoolkids are trapped inside. Pony and Johnny rush and try to save the schoolkids, but a piece of timber hits Johnny, and Pony gets knocked unconscious by Dallas (who was trying to put the fire out of Pony’s back)
Pony and Johnny rushes to the hospital and Pony wakes up. The whole gang reunites, Dallas is okay, but Johnny is in a critical condition and might
