The book “Eldest” is part of the series of books called “Eragon”. The book “Eldest” is the second book in the series. Eragon, the main character of the book series, was a small farm boy who found an egg in the woods while hunting for deer. The egg hatched and the dragon known as Saphira came out. Her and Eragon were instantly connected to each other and forever will be. The theme for Eragon was about the honor, friendship, responsibility and forgiveness that you would think to see in a dragon rider and was done outstandingly by Christopher. In a brief part of the book Eragon was faced with friendship and forgiveness when his cousin he grew up with had betrayed him to the Razack. An elite group that was on the hunt for Eragon and his dragon.
