This book is about a beach party that gets crashed. Karen Mandell just broke up with her boyfriend Mike. Mike gave Karen a crystal necklace. Karen met up with one of her good friends Ann-Marie. Ann-Marie just got out of a two year relationship. So Karen met this guy named Jerry, she really like him. They went on a skate date and Karen left Ann-Marie at the house. It was 9:00p.m and Karen wanted to be back before Ann-Marie called the police. She climbed into her bed and felt something cold, wet, and slimy. When Karen lifted the covers, she let out a terrifying scream. There on her bed was a bunch of jellyfish. Ann-Marie thinks that Renee did it. Karen walked down to Renee’s place to say hey. Karen walked into the kitchen to find Renee pale white and dead. Karen called the L.A.P.D. …show more content…
Ann-Marie said the cops think she did it because Ann-Marie and Renee ran into each other earlier and they got into a fight. One of Renee’s friends saw them. As they were leaving, the cops brought in Vince and he was screaming. The cop threw Vince into the Franklin’s office. Karen, Ann-Marie, and her parents started to leave as soon as they get out of the building, a tall red haired woman ran up to Karen ask who she was. Then the woman told Karen to stay away from Jerry. Later that day Karen ran into Jerry and she asked him about his sister. Jerry said “I don’t have a sister.” Karen and Ann-Marie went to the beach and Ann-Marie went for a walk. Karen fell asleep on a blanket. Karen woke up to Vince calling her name. They went for a walk together down the beach. Vince pulled her tight and kissed her.
