Where are you where have you been essay Where are you going, where have you been is based off the serial killer Charles Smitty. The intro to the story is about a fifteen year old, Connie and her life. Connie is a vain young girl that has family tension. Her mother is envious for her flaunting herself in appearance. She has a social like any other teenage girl. After a usual trip to the restaurant Connie hangs out with a boy named eddie. While with him a strange man stands by watching and mouths, "I'm gonna get ya baby." After her family leaves her alone to go to a Barbecue, two strange men drive to her house. Connie talks to the first named Arnold Friend. He tries to persuade her to take a ride with him. With constant refusal Connie threatens to call the police.
