We all have a purpose, we’re unique in our own way, and we’re a blended family with a mixture of different people all wanting the same, to become a Monarch and live the Viriliter Age motto. We range from sixth graders, high school, staff, principal, and even higher; a President. We surround ourselves with people who are not only like us, but also with people who are not so like us. Damien Memorial School itself is a smoothie, blended with people from all over this Island; with not only Kalihi residents, we mix and range ourselves from students and teachers living as far as Makaha, from Kapolei, Waipahu, Pearl City, Hale’iwa, Honolulu, Mililani, Waimanalo, Chinatown, Kaneohe, Kailua, basically from all over. Everyone is here for a reason whether like it here or not. Through sports, clubs, and academic, we try our best to make sure that every student gets the job done and leads themselves to a more successful path as they move on to the next stage of their lives. Damien isn’t just about the students and their accomplishments, Damien is also about the teachers who help us reach our goal and accomplish it. The teachers are the ones who gets us to focus and understand the material. Also, the parents of the Damien Memorial School students are a part of this because they are the ones who support us and keeps us together. Lastly but surely not least, God, he is the main one who keeps us on track to keep us the united family that we are building as a community.
