I think reading about the Brice family the main gist I took away from this reading is that. There is a lot of projection And transference of aggression just as Dr. Napier said in the book that when he was asking Don Brice Question about the situation in the family even before Claudia started to cause trouble in the family Don said “Mom doesn’t like it a bit that Dad works so much… he goes up to his study and shuts himself in and works some more…“So that’s one reason Mom gets so mad when Claudia goes and hides in her room....” and vise visa the two parents does have a problem in their marriage and we're using what they see as an alternative to their problem to substitute as the solution to the problem, but at the end of the day Carolyn Brice sees Claudia slipping away from …show more content…
Napier said Claudia is the sensitive one and she was just crying out for help for her family, but she does not know a better or a mature way to handle the situation which is definitely normal for a child (it could be difficult for an adult to handle such a situation as well just like in the case of the parent (i.e. Mr. and Mrs. Brice) handling their marriage wrong by putting pressure on their children and Claudia is a girl and the older child felt the impact the most. By the time they got to therapy everything they think was hidden from their children was actually visible, but in reverse hidden from the parent in particular because Don knew everyone's situation in the house, even little Laura was hiding a secret of her own constantly confuse and contemplation of her parents divorcing when her older sister took her own life. This must be a lot to handle for any child and it seem as if the children are actually handling it better than the adults that feel the need to control the

Breslin wrote an article about Clifton Pollard, John F. Kennedy's grave digger, and Pollard said that "it was an honor" to dig the grave. Breslin emphasizes that everyone can be important, in some way, even if they aren't doing the most important thing at the moment. All of the reporters at the time were reporting about JFK's death, but he decided to focus on something else that had to do with the president's death, such as the grave digger. Maybe Breslin decided to focus his JFK obituary on Clifton Pollard, because he thought it would be more interesting for readers to read something different than they have been seeing in the news. This topic could also be more relatable to the public, because he was only paid $3.01 an hour, and many people…

There are more favorable habitats that the Boids prefer to live in; tropical forests and deserts. Very cold areas that contain tundra, ice caps, even the tops of mountains are unfavorable areas for any species of snake due to being so cold and this becomes a struggle due to regulation of the optimum body temperature. Tropical forests seem to create the greatest diversity of snakes. Temperature is not too big of an issue in these habitats due to tropical regions maintaining a constant higher temperature year round. These areas seem to offer abundant ranges of niches to any arboreal, semi-aquatic, terrestrial or burrowing snake.…

The prose from ‘Don’t Let’s Go To The Dogs Tonight’ by Alexandra Fuller is full of imagery that makes the reader understand the characters better, as well as the situation that the characters are in. The author uses eloquent language to support the imagery in the text. Her usage of language helps us get a broader view of what the characters are like and how these characters form a family, we also get a perspective of the business that this family is working in and how they are in a way discriminated by looks, a farmer differing from a buyer. And how the tobacco business is hard from the perspective of the farmers. The three major things that I have noticed while reading this prose was that there is a great amount of imagery, the characters…
