The movie just does not add that extra detail that the book gave you. When you read the book you want to guess what happens but in the movie you can not think what will happen it will just happened already. While you are reading the book you picture in your head how the story is going along.
The book will allow you to have an imagntion. While you are watching the movie you are more likely to fall asleep. In the book Brian’s mom doesn’t know that Brian knew the secret, but in the movie
Brian’s mom did know that Brian knew the secret. It is better when someone does not know something for example the secret.Instead of the dad the

It gave exquisite details on how each individual part happened and how each character responded. Supporting my thesis, the novel was more intriguing than the movie. Each event was described clearly, whereas in the film many were left out or unspoken of. I feel as if the movie focused on just the main parts of the story, but in the book every little obstacle was written out. Therefore, I have given various examples as to why the book was better than the film, along with the major similarities and differences of the…

S.E. Hinton wrote the book when she was in high school. In the book makes you think about what the people look like and picture the surroundings. The movie just shows you what the stuff looks like and not make you think. While the book and movie have many similarities and differences, the book was more effective in telling the story. To start the first comparable scene is the rumble.…

the movie was very odd and I did not like it. In the movie the dog replaced Clover. In the Book the story was told by no one and in the movie it was told by the dog also old major did not die the same in the Book as in the movie. Also in the movie it is rushed and confusing overall I did not like the movie or the Book but the Book was better than the movie. I think that if people only watched the movie and not read the Book they would be confused because in the movie not all the info is there and it's hard to…

The book has bigger and better scenes that make a big differences, and the parts should be in the movie as well. Example would be, Susie’s father gets beat up in a corn field, with a baseball bat. Her father got beat up pretty bad and while he was in the hospital susie’s mother kisses and has an affair with the detective that is on susie’s case. In the movie it switches it all up and susie’s mother leaves…

Although we have not finish watching the movie completely, as of now, I favor the book over the movie. I find many of the major aspects in the book lost within the movie. First of all, the movie is has no first person narrator. The main character still remains as McMurphy but the significance of Chief Bromden is lost. He is played out as a minor character in the movie.…

Well in the movie it went from Ender getting his team to them having to fight two people at once. The progression in the movie was terrible and didn’t explain anything. One other difference with the book and the movie was the view of the outside world and how it changed why Ender was in the school. In the book Ender was in the school without communication to his family or anyone, so in the book it showed us what was happening why he was away and how Valentine and Peter changed.…

Movies convey their emotions by hearing and by the picture, thanks to the great sound and visual effects the details seem more real. However, a movie projects one main picture that can be somehow limiting to the spectator, who, will not think any further to what is depicted on the screen. Books, on the other hand, are more often than not, visually boring and not as attractive. Nevertheless, books are not just bunch of letters and words, books make the reader capable of expanding their imagining capacities. Usually, after reading a book, there are countless ways to interpret the story and details, thanks to the lack of visual limitations.…
