Improved Essays
There Brianna is up in the air, it’s all up to my stunt group to keep her up, she could fall or get hurt so it’s up to us to keep her up and make sure it looks good. It can be very hard being a base in a stunt, or even being a cheerleader. Sometimes it’s all up to you to make sure your stunt stays up, or to even make sure your routine looks perfect! This year cheering has been the most hard, because we are getting ready for competition and everything is getting super stressful.

Out of all of the stunt groups it has been hardest for us. But we are always trying our best to keep her up,we just can’t seem to get the hang of it. Competition is only a month and a half away so we have to keep trying our hardest. She keeps getting so close to falling but we keep catching her. Now she is up to full extension, and there she goes flying in the air we dropped her! Brianna is now crying and now she doesn’t trust us, and doesn’t want to get back in the air. Because now she is scared we are going to drop her. The coaches tell her if she is not going to be able to stay up and to make sure the stunt looks good, she won’t be able to be flyer anymore.
So she gets up wipes her tears and gets ready to do it again. We put her up into the air, and she is wobbling and the whole stunt group is trying to make sure that she will stay up in the air and not fall again. It’s very hard since she just got done crying, and the whole stunt group is scared to drop her again.
Then we loaded her in and we put her into full extension, and it was for the first time in a long time that we could actually hit it perfect. So we did and the whole team started cheering for us, everybody was so proud. We had finally hit that

If you ask any competitive cheerleader what Carly Manning is famous for, they will most likely say her stunting. Carly was one of the first people to do a kick full kick full in a basket toss. A basket toss is pretty much exactly what is sounds like, there three people on the ground and they kind of just throw her in the air as high as they possibly can. Carly’s jumps are all hyper extended which every cheerleader wants, because they just look amazing. Hyper extended jumps are where when you do say a toe touch, your legs to above your arms.…
