Hatchet I believe that Hatchet has done a better job at telling the story due to. It gave a greater number of detail in the story to support whoever reads the book to more competently understand the story. For, example when the moose attacked him it gave so much detail I could feel the pain, and torture he suffered, but in the movie it did not provide as much detail as the book. When the plane crashed I could just feel the water, and I could make out the green, and blue of the lake. In conclusion I believe that the book Hatchet does a better job at telling the story than the movie Cry In The Wild.…

I believe that Hatchet does a better job of telling the story. I believe this because Hatchet gives us more details than the movie. In the movie “A Cry in the wild” they change more things and it is not very similar to the book. In the book it says that Brian was in the plane and all the sudden he smelt something and did not understand then Brian knew what it was it the pilot passing gas. In the movie the only thing that the pilot did was clutched his shoulder but did not pass gas.…

When Brian is trying to make fire it takes him a long time to even make a spark! But in this quote Brian shows the determination to make a fire on page 86 it says “ He made the nest ready again, held the hatchet backward, tensed and struck four quick blows.” Unlike Brian I would’ve quit a while back and try to do something else. This would also lower my chances of survival because fire is an important resource. Lastly, if I didn’t have a fire then I would have to keep eating the same things and eat stuff raw.…
