Every piece a writer creates needs to have a story and an appeal. Pulley mentioned that content was king and anecdotes with meaningful detail, knowledge, history, and personification could go a long way with the reader and empower the writer in how they display the world. Pulley had different views as some writers and could therefore add a different vantage point to the situation and/or story. Pulley was really transformed as a writer and as a story teller when the concept of new journalism came out in the 1970s and the 1980s. He knew that if he needed to survive this every changing industry that he would have to be able to change and adapt the way he tells stories. The most important thing he did has a person and as a writer was to take chances and to gamble in situations.
Overall, Brett Pulley was a great speaker with memorable stories and advice. He has achieved a lot through his career and has many more things to accomplish. His unique perspective on the world and the people in it really made him stand out as a story teller in this world. The common thing that was important for all these activities was the ability to communicate with both my superiors and peers.…
