Legendary quarterback Brett Favre was born born on October 10, 1969 under the name of Brett Lorenzo Favre. He was born in Gulfport, Mississippi. He is the second of the four boys, which he grew up around the wilds of bayou country, hunting and fishing with his three brothers. In his school days, just like his siblings, he showed a great passion for baseball and football. He seemed to be a better baseball player, because he earned a starting position on his high school team called Hancock North Central during his eighth grade year.

During his rookie season with the Falcons, Favre only took a few snaps. Throughout his rookie year, he was at odds for what his future with the Falcons had in store with him. During that time the Green Bay Packers offered the club to draft the young QB in the first round pick and the team took the deal. Also when Favre played football for his dad’s football team, he played different positions other than quarterback, he also played safety, place kicker, and lineman.
When Favre was with the Packers, he had a remarkable run with them, he led the team to a pair of super bowls in which one he had won, and the other, he had won the three MVP awards three times. While he was with the Jets, he had lost four of his five games, which one of them was his final game against the Miami Dolphins. When the contract he had with the Jets expired, he went to the Minnesota Vikings in 2009. When he was with the Vikings, he achieved his goal, he went into his 11th pro bowl. Toward the 2010 season, that season would be his last. Favre returned to Minnesota in 2011 which made it a disappointing season for the quarterback and the club. Favre retired for good at the end of 2011, and returned to his hometown in Mississippi, he finished his season with NFL records in passing(71,838) and touchdowns(508) which was previously held my Dan Marino of the Miami Dolphins.
Now in 2012, Favre was hired as an assistant coach at Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was asked by the St. Louis Rams to return to the NFL in the following October, but Favre had declined it.
