There was a 12 year old kid named Brennan and he suffered from a disease called Scoliosis. He had suffered with the disease for most of his life. His curvature got worse over time and he was treated by another surgeon with Vertebral Body Stapling, a fusionless technique which failed to stop progression of his curve. Then was treated with the VEPTR procedure but his curve continued to get worse and his spine continued to curve to 107 degrees. Brennen had more surgery performed by his new surgeon in August of 2013 The surgery went very smoothly as did his post-operative course. Brennen has been doing very well.
