Our District Governor (Eric Cowcill) who was at the Bramhall and Woodford Rotary Club Charter Night on Wednesday 18 October which I also attended, is interested in publicising Polio during the showing of the film “Breathe” at the Savoy Cinema in Heaton Moor.
“Breathe”, as many of you will know, is a biographical drama film. It tells the story of a young man who became paralyzed from the neck down by polio at the age 28.
I was asked to find out some information about the screening of the film and whether we can use the opportunity to publicise polio.
