Developed by the Israeli company Cellebrite, the textalzyer is so named because it completes a similar task as the breathalyzer. A breathalyzer as you likely know is a tool used by police officers to measure a person’s intoxication level. It has been in use for decades, which overwhelmingly positive results. Of course, the textalyzer won’t measure a person’s breath to determine their impairment. Instead, it will work by examining a driver’s phone after a crash.
