I take my hand and rubbed over my breast it feels like air bubbles it is kind of a silly dilly fingers under your hand as you explore your own body. It goes up and and down pop- pop it is as if I am in aforeign body. I feel all arround the breast it is tender but it is my body. I go online and read more about the the post “ Breast Implant Exchange surgery” many other girls seem to have found bubbles. But I am still concerned about he air bubble that I felt at the bottom of my left breast, right by the incision area where the cancer tumor was removed. “Dear God Please let the cancer be gone!” First, it was funny and strange and I had both my daughters feel the strange swoosh swish movement of the air bubbles under my skin, but then I started …show more content…
(Of cause I will have to move to another state). It was one of the amygdala hijack moments - when my brain just did not want to think. I was already thinking or assuming the worse and my thought were so upsetting. The air bubbles are still there. 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. The answer I found from online stories is that four weeks after the surgery, it is highly unlikely to find air bubbles and if you do find some it should be at the top of the breast. What one file if you feel something is the edges (interface)of your implant. You can feel the movement of the implant against the breast whole(capsule) that was created by the expander. But from the outside, you can push it up and down, and it will slide back and forth inside the capsule. So what will I do with these silly air bubbles - nothing just nothing... I am going to stand in faith ignore the redness and the sensitivity and pray and believe. I am going to fight this and live and laugh and be happy and find something good in today to make today's story end

Unit 10 Patients suffering from some sort of respiratory distress after a postoperative time are entitled to receive Hyperinflation Therapy, or commonly known as Lung Expansion Therapy. Targeting the thoracic region, this therapy involves giving greater volume of oxygen to a patient to prevent atelectasis, which is, collapsed alveoli. If a patient is unable to fill their alveoli with air on their own, surfactant will not be released and cause the alveoli to collapse. In Cystic Fibrosis patients , the mucus creates a blockage in the airways which causes the patient to go into Atelectasis.…

Prosthetic valve implantation requires postoperative prophylactic anticoagulation to preclude thrombotic events; which are the common cause for morbidity and mortality after surgery for VHD. A paramount risk of thromboembolic events is observed during the first three months after surgery for both mechanical and bioprosthetic devices. Nevertheless, mechanical valves exhibit life time thrombotic risk. Atrial fibrillation, which is a common arrhythmia in VHD, necessitates lifelong anticoagulation in majority of patients; especially if it involves mitrial valve. Therefore, patients on anticoagulants are at risk of thrombosis and bleeding, if the target INR levels are not maintained.…

I really don’t want to go through chemotherapy or have someone in my family go through that. Knocking on wood, but I have been lucky that cancer has not been a big factor in my family. A chief complaint from a patient I have received in the past, while working in women’s health, was “During my monthly self breast examination I discovered a lump and it’s painful”. The patient was a 22-year-old Hispanic woman with a history of two miscarriages and presented post-op dilation and curettage. The patient had an aunt who passed away from breast cancer about a year before this visit and she was concerned that her lump could signify that she had breast cancer. Bickley and Szilagyi (2012) state location, quality, quantity, timing, setting, factors alleviating or aggravating the symptoms and associated manifestations as the seven attributes that should be paid attention to when considering the patient’s chief complaint. Seven questions…

In all cultures, people has a belief that breast is the symbol of woman's femininity and beauty. Removal of a breast (mastectomy) has negative emotional consequences on the woman's life. Barcia (1985) stated that "mastectomy causes more trauma than the cancer illness its self".…
