Breast Diagnosic: A Case Study

Decent Essays
The meeting is tomorrow at noon, 12/1/16. If Brenda needs help I can help Brenda and Noemi walk through there procedures in the basement/ Breast diagnostic and the imaging center and then modify what the currently have and incorporate the MagView tech tools. I also think the workflow for Breast Diagnostic should also be considered. Maybe we should have Brenda invite Martha Canet. Brenda isn't as familiar as she should be with the current mammo workflow so I doubt she is any more familiar with the Breast Diagnostic workflow.

This morning I met with Ms. Smith and reviewed the status of continuity binder project and its usefulness in reducing communication and process failures. Ms. Smith, her staff, and I all believe that the binder will help Nursing Officer of the Day (NOD) to function more efficiently in the setting of constant workflow interruptions. After receiving some of her personal feedback and feedback of other staff members there are a few more areas of the binder that require tweaking but the binder should be completed by next week (Goal 4). Ms. Smith also shared with me that she has been working on a fillable PDF form that will allow the Nursing Officer of the Day (NOD) to generate more accurate reports and it will expedite the notification of Labor and…

Article B In the article “Breast milk and subsequent intelligence quotient in children born preterm” A. Lucas and R. Morley (1992) conducted a thorough experiment on the effects of mothers’ breast milk on premature newborns. The researchers are not new to this line of work, they conducted another experiment before this one showing a correlation between preterm infants who drank breast milk and better development. In the article I read, the researchers did an exceptional job on perfecting their experiment. They had both dependent and independent variables, and an experimental group and a control group.…

Breed Risk of mastitis varies from breed to breed. High yielding cows are generally considered to be more susceptible to intramammary infection e.g. Holstein Frisian (HF), Jersey or HF and Jersey cross bred dairy cows are more susceptible to mastitis than Desi (Zebu) breeds of cows (Sharma, 2003). It might be due to more resistance to disease and they are low milk producer than cross bred cows. Increased risk of clinical mastitis in Friesian compared with Jersey. This trend is also increased over time as a result from the successful selection…
