Coaching Styles Paper
Coach number one: Breanne the weight loss coach. Breanne is a bubbly, dynamic, healthy, physically fit coach. She lives what she is coaching others to do. Breanne usually catches people’s attention by a button she wears that says, “I’ve lost 80lbs twice”. She loves to share her inspirational story to let others know you are not alone and you can do it too. Breanne is very personable, she looks you in the eye, and ask questions to get to know you better. Then, she proceeds to ask critical questions, such as; Why do you want to lose weight? How many pounds do you want to lose? What are you eating now? What kind of exercise are you doing? How many times a day do you exercise? Sometimes she will even have you feel out a questionnaire

God’s purpose for His bride, build people, take the long view, build capacity, and get results which are all covered in chapter six of Leadership Coaching by Stoltzfus.
One of my spiritual gifts is exhortation which is encouragement. Isn’t that what a good coach should do? That is the kind of coach I wish to be someday, one that encourages. My values are I want to serve the Lord with all my heart, to love others as Jesus did, to ask people critical questions that help them come up with the answer or goal without manipulation, to be transformed, and to lead others to find their transformation through God. Lastly, to know the Word of God, that I may coach His will, not mine. Coaching to me is all about the transformation inside and out.
All the coaches, I have mentioned in my journal and in this paper, have similar approaches to coaching as I would. For instance, Ms. Cheryll coaches without even realizing she is doing it, I am the same way. Ms. Diane and I coach the same by believing in people, giving responsibility, and know that everyone is unique and different. Breanne and I are both encouragers and challenge others to set goals. Bucky and I love God, we want to serve Him, and honor Him, but most of all I want to bear fruit and coach others to do the same spread the Good News of Christ. Living transformational lives and coaching

One cannot half-heartedly get into being a coach. There are many nights they leave their family, without second thought. They sacrifice leaving children at home along with a loving husband or wife without restriction, as well as early mornings and late nights. Coaches literally put it all on the line for the athletes, and do not get enough credit for all they do. It seems as if players do not fully appreciate the high school coach until they graduate and are not around them every waking minute.…

As I read the chapter “The Teaching Circuit: A Blueprint”, I tended to agree with the author’s idea of the four virtues of master coaches. Excellent trainers often exhibit similar qualities. These qualities best outline their characteristics and how they become who they are. When I was twelve, I had one of the greatest swimming years of my life, and I largely contribute that to Coach Chris. In the third virtue, the article talked about how exceptional mentors use terse and effective statement in order to get their points across.…

This is a skill that is meant to hold the employees in an organization as very important stakeholders within the organization with much more value being given to the employees rather than the organizational assets and profits as would be the case with many managers in various organizations. A manager as coach develops the art of coaching as they go about their managerial roles in a skill which contrasts with the application of control as well as command by leaders. This skill therefore favors managers more than it does to leaders making the role much more appropriate for a…
