In the passage "Neighbours", the writer is talking about Sally's new life in Canada. With her Chinese habits, she and her neighbours had some conflitcts on each other. Parachuting is the risk he take in his life, there are some accident happen when people are parachuting, the parachute had problem that led the parachute can not open as normal.
