Breaking a Social Norm Assignment
When I first got this assignment I was a little nervous because I am a painfully shy person. Breaking these social norms is very far outside my comfort zone. It took me some time to figure out which social norm I wanted to break because I knew I needed to chose something that I could actually go through with. So I decided to break the first social norm on the list, breaking elevator norms. I decided I was going to face the back of the elevator and ride it a few times to see if I could get a reaction from any of the students riding the elevator.
On Saturday April first, I went to visit my friend who lives in Bell Hall. This dorm building has an elevator so this was the most convenient location for me to do
