Breaking Into Seaworld-Personal Narrative

Would you go on an adventure with someone who enters your bedroom window at dawn? Goody two shoes, senior, Quentin Jacobsen wouldn’t have even dreamt about it. Until, a childhood friend and lifelong crush of his Margo Roth Spiegelman arrives through his window asking for his help. He accompanies Margo on one of her many mysterious adventures. Margo forces Quentin step outside of his box on this adventure. She makes Quentin do things that are illegal and could get him in big trouble. He skips graduation for her, breaks into Seaworld with Margo, and lies to his parents about her, but she is helping him do things he wouldn't have ever achieved if not for her. As Quentin “comes of age” he becomes more of a risk taker and steps outside of his comfort zone with a change in behavior. …show more content…
As they begin to break in he tells Margo how stupid, unsafe, and illegal the act they are committing is. He is positive they are going to get caught. After breaking and entering they don’t get in trouble or get caught. Quentin feels on top of the world and wants to achieve more acts like that with Margo. The second unjust thing Quentin does is lies to his parents about his night out with Margo. He tells them that he didn’t go anywhere with her which is most definitely untrue. Before that night he had never lied to them and didn’t think he ever would. His parents have no clue he is lying and no clue he took their minivan out of the garage at a time that was past his curfew. They also have no idea when he lies that he is sick to go on a search when Margo goes missing. This act makes goody two shoes Quentin erase his perfect attendance record at school. Helping him delete more of his acceptable
