a. Political Climate
The president of Brazil governs Brazil under a Federal Republic government. The president is the commander-in-chief of the Brazilian armed forces for a four year term. The government is represented by three levels, the federal, state, and municipal that provides some stability to the political climate. The three major political parties are: the Brazilian Social Democracy Party (PSDB), the Liberal Front Party (PFL), the Workers’ Party (PT), the Brazilian Democratic Movement Party (PMDB) and the Progressive Party (PP). The economic program established in 1990 has help develop an environment of political stability.

b. Economical
Brazil has one of the most active and establish economy in the areas of agriculture, mining, manufacturing, and service sectors. The main export products are iron ore, oil, oil products, soya, poultry, and airplanes. The …show more content…
The Brazilian political climate in uncertain with corruption scandals in high levels of the government. The economic benefits from the incoming 2016 Olympic Games might offset by the results from the 2014 World Cup. The Brazilian government made investments in new stadiums and infrastructure near the stadiums for the 2014 World Cup, but ignore improvements to the poorest part of the city. The results were insufficient infrastructure improvements, high taxes, corruption, inflation, and slow economic growth. Investigations on the Petrobas oil company own by the state and the Brazilian president lead to corruption scandals based on bribery payments to secure oil contracts. The second corruption scandal involved the Lava Jato refinery company that affected the prices of gasoline and diesel and resulted in a slow consumption of refined fuels.
