“Commander Brayzack, it’s good to see you again,” Sergeant Steven Barnes said while saluting the commander with a light-hearted smile. “At ease, sergeant,” replied the commander while returning the salute, his mirthful smile reciprocating. Having seen the sergeant again, Bryzack felt a strange comforting effect. It was just then for the first time in nearly three days that he found himself feeling relaxed, if only for a moment. “I thought you were going to be stationed up at Camp Hero for this mess’s duration?” Brayzack asked trying to make conversation. “Me too, but it turns out new orders for me came down from higher up the chain.
