To Kill a Mockingbird “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think”-winnie the pooh. Bravery is not a given trait but made by your actions and thoughts. Have you ever read a book filled with bravery? To kill a mockingbird is filled with bravery. Mrs.Dubose is one example of bravery in to kill a mockingbird. Mrs Dubose was a morphine addict and that was because she was old. Mrs. Dubose wanted to get off of the morphine before her death. “She was the bravest person I ever knew”- Atticus. This proves that Mrs.Dubose was a brave person to get off of being a morphine addict and Atticus thinks of Mrs.Dubose’s situation in her shoes and when she died he knew she was really brave to take this challenge head
