The American Dream: Quoting The author, Brandon King starts off his essay off with his title in quotations. I feel that opposes the question “What is the American Dream?” Another thing that I noticed about his essay is that he quotes other people and their opinions in his own writings. He also uses single words that are is quotation and I feel that this is used more as an emphases or stress on that one certain word. For example he puts quotations around the word “successful”.with him quoting other people he also quotes from their writing too and not just their words spoken.
