Bram Stoker’s Dracula is an American made film, genre was a romantic horror film that was made in 1992 by director and producer Francis Ford Copppola. The movie is based on the novel Dracula by the author Bram Stoker. the lead characters in the movie Dracula is Gary oldman as Count Dracula, Winona Ryder as Mina Harker, Anthony Hopkins as Professor Abraham Van Helsing and the actor Keanu Reeves as Jonathan Harker. some of the less known characters are Richard E. inside the film was not produced using and computer graphics, any and all graphics were done on set as part of the set. most of the visual effects seen in the film were achieved without the use of computer generated effects, but were created using onset and in-camera methods.For an example on camera work and editing along with art design, any sequences that would have usually required the use of composting, were instead achieved by either projection or with actors placed in front of a screen with an image projected behind them, or through exposure by shooting a background slate then rewinding the film though the camera and shooting the foreground slate on the same piece of film, all the while using matting techniques to ensure that only the desired areas of film were exposed.Forced perspectives were often employed to combine small effects or matte paintings with full sized elements, or create distorted views of reality, such as holding the camera upside down or at odd angles to create the effect of objects defying the laws of physics. the colors are mostly reds with some blacks to indicate the darkness of dracula's soul. Production designers Dante Ferreti and Thomas Sanders have outdone themselves.
