Iteration One- Brainstorming
The traditional solutions for performance management had the design that facilitates the performance of the application that run on the corporate network and are unable to offer visibility beyond the perimeter of the corporate network. About the rapid adoption of the SaaS applications by the various organizations, it is possible to describe the best practices for the adoption of the SaaS within these organizations to resolve the performance challenges. The first iteration about the adoption of the SaaS in the organization is the brainstorming sessions. Through the interactions with these stakeholders, it will be quite simple to address the various organizational issues that the adoption of the SaaS platform is going to address. The interactions will offer more information about the some of the issues that the organization has been facing shortcomings in their daily operations. Additionally the interaction and the planning of the brainstorming session will offer both sides the overview of the SaaS functionalities in the organization. The outlining of the objectives that are to obtain from the brainstorming will be critical for me as an intern with the objective of ensuring that all the parties contribute to the realization of the objective. Additionally, it will be my responsibility to ensure that all the parties participating in the brainstorming session are aware of the ideas to address thus equipping themselves with adequate knowledge. Agreeing on the individual timelines that we will be relying upon is the significant additional attribute to address in this plan. Through the initial brainstorming session, the assessment of the involvement levels, as well as sensitivities of these individuals, will be possible thus making it easier for me to comprehend how to run the facilitation. Additionally, I wanted to ensure that I was familiar with all the IT operations in the company to be able to address the manner we would customize the SaaS operations to suit the company. We went through all the rules that were to guide the session as well as ensuring that we reiterate the fact that none of the suggestions, as well as responses, would dismiss. Ensuring that all the participants were on board about the customizing, the SaaS application is the additional measures we took to enhance the participation. Thus, I acted to ensure that every individual participant was willing to actively participate, dismissing nothing as well as ensuring that no one sneered at the idea put forward by another individual. During the session, I ensured that the assistant was recording all the suggestions and concerns from the participants in the flip chart. The discussion on the methods to apply in the customization of the SaaS and more specifically implementing a complete customization were the main issue floating during the session.
