Colorectal Cancer, also known as Colon Cancer is a disease that occurs in the Colon or Rectum. Sometimes when a Polyp, which are tissue growth on the outside or inside of a cell, increases or gets bigger it can spread to the outer layer of the cell causing a cancerous tumor. CRC is known to be the fourth leading cause of death in the United States due to Cancer. With treatments of CRC it has improved the incidence reports of Brain Metastasis over time. Without treatment, such as , Opening the brain and having the tumor Surgically removed, Stereotactic radiosurgery, which is a gamma ray to treat small sized tumors , and Radiotherapy patients are more likely to live up to 1-2 months.

Between November 2008 to December 2015 statistics shows that 3,952 patients were diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer. 19 of these patients were able to be diagnosed due to Radiological screening and medical records of their characteristics of the tumors within the lymph nodes and Brain Metastasis.
