Brady And Jastremski Case Study

Improved Essays
It is clear that the Brady and Jastremski are both aware about the issue and wanted to talk about it. It’s important to note that in the 20 years that Jastremski has worked for the Patriots, he had never met with Brady in the quarterback room. He also said that the meeting only lasted a few minutes and walked out a happy man because Brady had praised and thank him for the preparation of the footballs for the AFC Championship Game. He said they did not discuss anything relating to the deflation of game balls during the meeting. To evaluate the data collected on the day of the AFC Championship Game and test the likelihood that the Patriots did or did not tamper with the game balls, Ted Wells brought in a team from Exponent, one of the leading scientific and engineering consulting firms in the country, which included Dr. Daniel R. Marlow, who is a Physics professor at Princeton University and former Chairman of the Physics Department. …show more content…
Based on their experiments and analysis, Exponent and their experts found that the gauges used on the day of the AFC Championship Game appear to have worked reliably and consistently on game day, and the difference in the pressure drops between the teams was not caused by a malfunction of either gauge. Also, the ideal gas law does not fully account for the drop in air pressure in the Patriots game

The reason the Patriots are in the Super Bowl for the 7th time in Tom Brady’s career is because of his leadership and consistency on and off the field. On the field he picks apart all the defenses in the NFL. He doesn’t have to have good receivers to make them good. He makes them good because of his work ethic in practice and his timing and his accuracy. Brady was suspended the first four games of the year this season and he still ended the season with MVP numbers.…

If i could choose one person from throughout history to have a thirty minute conversation, I would choose Tom Brady. I chose Tom because not only is he on my favorite team, he is my favorite player, and he is arguably the greatest QB to ever touch a football in the National Football League. Tom Brady has broken countless records, is tied for most superbowl rings, and has the most playoff wins in history! He always finds a way to win, no matter who he plays with, and I respect him for being such a great athlete. Global Effects The Super Bowl utter dominance within the U.S. fails to translate onto the international stage. It is behind a number of sports, such as soccer, rugby, even cricket. It’s American-centric base excludes the rest of the world, as other countries are much more focused on sports where their own people are competing. Even when referring to the sport, one must say “American Football”, rather than just football, as the rest of the world uses that term for soccer.…

This is proof that the NFL was trying to reduce violence and injuries, but this still not does not seem to work for reducing them. People let their kids go out and play the sport while they are potentially risking serious head injury, like concussions, which is very concerning to the child's parents, because of all the news and facts they know about concussions. If the NFL, or the equipment makers for the football players, came together to work for good equipment that caused less injuries, then this would save money and damage for the football player. These injuries leave people wondering “Will concussions ever be prevented or reduced in percentage throughout the years of football”? Or “What are sports medical teams doing to prevent concussions or make helmets more concussion-proof”?…

In the NFL, concussions are becoming one of the most talked about topics between players and the executives of the NFL. Players want to be safe when playing the game they love, but research is showing that concussions can severely affect the brain immediately and later in life. It can cause chronic traumatic encephalopathy, CTE, which is degenerative disease of the brain. The NFL believes their current system to protect players is enough, but the players and many fans disagree.
