Bradshaw On The Family Analysis

Imagine being able to lay in bed to finally relax and then hear yelling down the hallway and have to jump up and figure out what to do. In the book Bradshaw on: The Family, by the author John Bradshaw, talks about how you can relate to many family problems and how you can help cure the toxic problems within your family. He also talks about how the parents are role models of their family and how they should be good examples for their children. That 's not the case, my father sets a lot bad examples for my family simply because of alcohol. It is extremely difficult for families to have healthy relationships with each other because they all are mostly busy with work or other activities. My parents are very hard worker but what I don 't like is when my dad comes home and drinks. Almost every dad when my dad comes home, he goes to the garage to drink a couple of beers. Then, when he comes back in the house, he brings a beer and goes to watch tv. I could smell the sour scent of the bear rubbing off of him as he passes by me. Whenever my dad drinks he will most likely have very intense arguments with my mother and sometimes so intense that they think about going their own separate ways which terrifies me. I am the second man of the house and it puts a lot of pressure on me because I know that if my dad leaves then I will have to step up and be the example for my younger siblings. One things I hate the most is when people yell and get in each others faces which makes me extremely angry. I get so angry when my parents yell that I yell over them to stop all of the commotion. Literally every fight happens at night so after it stops I struggle to even get rest and I always have terrifying nightmares about it. An actual story that occurs most nights for me really made my life difficult and that story is; as I walk into my
