The Bradley-Reid is collaborating to address a massive outreach campaign in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community at reducing the number of women at high risk for HIV/AIDS. This mobilization campaign is designed to increase the self-advocacy of women in taking charge of their health and changing the attitudes, beliefs and behaviors of women in protecting themselves against HIV/AIDS, thereby reducing the spread of the disease. The massive outreach campaign has engaged other community based organizations, faith based organizations, local networks, and government to carry the message of prevention and expand its reach and scope in the communities.
